Live Love Snack: Popped Multigrain Supersnack

AKA potato chips!
I find some of these names funny. It's just potato chips! Anyways... this snack out of the ones I've posted so far has to be the one that tastes the most like junk food! :)
It tastes like those potato chips with the skin that you might buy at the park from your local "elotero/paletero guy"
I added salsa to mine and it tasted just like the real thing. So the serving is 22 chips! I've never seen such generous amount for only 110 calories!  Like you could the entire bag and it would still be ok.
Bag has 3 servings. I will definitely buy this snack again and again. It feels like a cheat but it's just chia, flax seeds and brown rice. It's gluten free, non-gmo, vegan. blah blah all the good stuff.

Hi I'm Skinny Sticks

LOVED THESE!!!
You must be thinking "This girl says that about everything" but I am only posting things I like to be honest. I don't feel like writing about something I didn't like is worth my time. If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.

ANYWAYS these taste like sweet potato fries. They really do. I personally love sweet potatoes fries anyways so they had me just at the flavor. They are also only 100 calories per bag! That is nothing for a bag of potato chips that tastes this amazing! I'll take it any day. They are salted to perfection in my opinion, super crunchy and not oily at all. If I could eat a bag of chips everyday it would be this one for sure. It is Vegan, gluten-free, NON GMO

They are also WBEN certified (women's business enterprise) I personally had never noticed that on food but hey good for them!

Go Chia! Chia Bites

Freaking Chia Bites! That was literary my first thought when I tried these. They were so damn good! Who would have thought? I know chia is healthy for you and what not but I never eat it. It reminds me of fish eggs..TMI?? So yeah chia seeds when in water or as a "pudding" just can't really do it. So when I opened this bag I wasn't expecting anything magical. It looked like granola squares, they were so crunchy and nutty. I guess the quinoa adds the nutty taste. The cherries are tangy and sweet! Ugh the combination is so so flavorful and yummy. I felt like I could eat chia bites everyday.
Chia + Quinoa+ cherries = Love

I felt soo healthy eating this lol the bag was pretty big, it had 4 servings however between my bf and I we kinda ate it in one sitting. You only live once right? Besides it's gluten free it has protein and fiber, Omega-3! Sunflower seeds and cinnamon. How much more healthy can this thing get? It's only 120 calories per portion too which is nothing with all the benefits this thing gives you. I am sad I don't have a box of this sitting around. I did get a little confused on the name. I thought it was called "eat chia" but nope is GO Chia.

CHAMELEON Cold Brew

So I am a coffee addict, I admit it. I can also be very picky about coffee flavor and smell. REAL coffee should smell like coffee beans and it should taste like roasted beans (in my opinion) These cold brew coffees are awesome! They taste freshly brewed every time. My favorite flavor has to be the Mocha Coffee. It tastes like chocolate and it's only 40 calories! You could add milk/creamer if you like lattes or iced coffee. You could blend it with ice and make your own "frappe" drink but you definitely don't need to add any sugar. This is not just flat black coffee they mix flavors and spices and it really is something special. Wayyy better than anything you could get at a chain coffee store. Also guilty free.  It's USDA Organic certified and fair trade certified <3
If you like or love coffee you gotta try these. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Intro

Hello!
Welcome to Organic Junk. Here I will be posting about healthy, organic and natural snacks I've recently discovered. I am not a "foodie" or a health professional but I am trying to embrace a healthier me. I am still relatively young (24 yrs young or whatever) so I still want to eat foods that remind me of chips, candy, ice-cream etc.. All the things that are delicious but deadly... I am slowly discovering that there are healthier options out there that taste the same or even better :)
Sounds to good to be true? Yup, I know! But it's true, turns out that this organic "trend" (because it is currently a trend) is not bad at all. It is actually a really good thing! The only thing that I still find ridiculous is that eating organic, whole, natural etc. is so expensive. There is no reason why eating healthy should be a luxury. I shouldn't feel fancy because I bought the organic apples the other day..

Anyways eating organic has made me lose some weight and made me feel healthier all around. Most of the claims behind this organic movement are real, at least based on my own experiences. The more people start demanding organic options and making the switch the faster it will become the norm and prices will have to go down. So enough about me running for health president.. I will start posting actual food tonight! I have wrappers and empty bottles saved so I can post them here lol I just have to tell everybody how good some of this stuff is! How could I rob the internet of such valuable info..HOW?!
